Seeding Announced for ACAA Volleyball Tournament

The seeding for the 2017 American Collegiate Athletic Association (ACAA) Volleyball Championships, to be held at Alfred State, have been announced. The Pioneers will be the #4 seed and will take on #1 Finlandia (MI) in the first semifinal on November 4th. #2 SUNY Canton will take on #3 Mills (CA) College in the other semifinal.

The Pioneers and Lions will battle at 2 p.m. on November 4th inside the gymnasium of the Orvis Activities Center before the Kangaroos and Cyclones battle at 4 p.m. The winners will advance to the championship match slated for 11 a.m. on November 5th. 

As approved by the member institutions, due to our geographic footprint the ACAA utilizes the Bennett Rank system published weekly at HeroSports.com for qualification and seeding into the postseason ACAA Championships in each sport except Cross Country. This fall marks the first official NCAA recognized ACAA Championships.
