The Alfred State volleyball team swept Pitt-Greensburg twice as they opened up AMCC play. The Pioneers have now won seven straight and are 12-6 overall on the year.
Alfred State 3-0 over Pitt-Greensburg: 25-23, 25-18, 25-17
Alfred State trailed for most of the first set of the AMCC conference match, but came back and won 25-23. The Pioneers got in the groove of things and took the second set 25-18. In the third set, Alfred State closed out the match beating Pitt-Greensburg 25-17.

Karleigh Haines (Jamestown,NY/ Jamestown) finished with 11 kills and 20 digs.

Alfred State 3-0 over Pitt-Greensburg: 25-19, 25-12, 25-13
Alfred State had a championship mentality going into the second match. The Pioneers shut down Greensburg in the first set 25-19. ASC did not let the Bobcats have any say in the second set, taking it 25-12. The blue & gold completed the sweep with a 25-13 in set three.
