Rusek Named Athlete of the Week

Sophomore Jordan Rusek (Williamsville East) has been named the Alfred State athlete of the week after being the top Pioneer finisher at the USCAA National Championships this past weekend.

The Alfred State women's cross county team finished 13th at the USCAA National Championships hosted by SUNY ESF at Drumlins Golf Club.
Pioneers finish 4th at USCAA National Championships

The Alfred State men's cross country team finished 4th at the 2013 USCAA National Championships held at Drumlins Country Club in Syracuse, NY. The blue & gold scored a 164 in their first year at the Championships.
Men 9th, Women 11th At NYS Championships

The Alfred State men's cross country team finished 9th while the women finished 11th at the NYS Championships on Saturday held at the Hamilton College Golf Course.
Cross Country Places 18th at Geneseo

The Alfred State cross country team each finished 18th at the SUNY Geneseo Invitational at Letchworth Park on Saturday. The men scored a 526 while the women scored a 607.
Men Finish 8th at Houghton Invitational

Both the Alfred State men's and women's soccer games at Hilbert were postponed on Saturday afternoon to wet fields and the forecast of poor weather. The two colleges are working to find a make-up date for the matches.

The Alfred State men's cross country team is ranked 8th in the first New York State Collegiate Track Conference cross country rankings. The women's team is ranked 12th.

The Alfred State men's cross country team finished 8th while the women finished 13th at the annual University of Rochester Invitational. The Pioneer men registered a score of 246 while the women scored 381.
Cross Country Wins Own Invitational

The Pioneer cross country team won both the men's and women's title at the annual Alfred State Invitational. The women won with a perfect score of 15 while the men won with a score of 22.
