Boyce-Wright and Hanss Earn ACAA Academic Honors
Alfred State sophomore Caleb Boyce-Wright (Cheetowaga) and senior Jacob Hanss (East Rochester) were two of nine student-athletes that were selected to the 2017 Academic All-American Collegiate Athletic Association men's cross country team. The group had an average GPA of 3.67.
Boyce-Wright has a 3.75 GPA in architecture while Hanss has a 3.60 GPA in Electrical Engineering Technology.
Eric Hulbert (Mexico) and Matthew Conner (Port Byron) were both named to the honor roll.
To be eligible for the all-academic team student-athletes must have above a 3.2 GPA. Selections were made by a vote of the ACAA sports information directors.
