Gleaton and Teboe Named #PioneerPinpoint Athletes of the Week

Basketball player Breana Gleaton (Waldorf, MD) and pole vaulter Brandon Teboe (Falconer) have been named the Alfred State #PioneerPinpoint athletes of the week.

Gleaton had a big week as the Lady Pioneers won both of their contests. In a 77-57 victory over SUNY Canton, she scored 15 points and had nine boards in 26 minutes of action. She followed that performance up with a 13 point, 7 rebound contest in a 77-40 victory over Davis College in just 19 minutes.

On the year, Gleaton leads the Lady Pioneers with 155 points (9.7 per game) and 120 rebounds (7.5 per game). She has scored 10 or more points in six of the Lady Pioneers seven games in 2016.

Teboe had a great night at the Houghton Invitational. Competing vs. 26 competitors in the pole vault he claimed 2nd place. His vault of 4.25 m. was the top performance by a collegiate athlete (the overall winner of the event was a unattached athlete from TWFC Club team). He is currently ranked 29th in the ECAC.

On top of his performance in the pole vault, Teboe threw the shot put 9.75 m, ran the 60 hurdles in 11.79, and registered a leap of 5.51 m in the long jump as he prepares to compete in the indoor multi.
