Roberts & Thierman Named #PioneerPinpoint Athletes of the Week

Basketball player Quadrelle Roberts (Rochester/Franklin) and wrestler Ryan Thierman (Portville) have been named the Alfred State #PioneerPinpoint athletes of the week.

Roberts connected on 11 three-pointers this week as the Pioneers split a pair of contests. He finished the week with 40 points, eight boards, six assists, and three steals. He was 14 for 28 from the field and 11 for 21 from three. He hit seven three-pointers in the Pioneers 88-69 victory over SUNY ESF. On the year he has hit 29 three-pointers and is averaging 10 points per game.

Thierman improved to 9-7 on the year with a pin of Josh Griswood in 1:24 in the 125 lb. match as the Pioneers battled Niagara CCC last Tuesday evening. Thierman is 6-2 in his last eight matches.
