Cross Country: 

The cross country team welcomed back alumni to compete in the annual Alumni 5K. The Pioneers will return to intercollegiate competition this weekend at the University of Rochester Invitational.

Football: 0-2

The Pioneers never got the offense going and fell 49-0 to Brockport in front of a large crowd at Pioneer Stadium. The Brockport duo of Dan Andrews and Joe Germinerio each scored three times in the game, once each in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th quarter.

Josh Ashley (Brooklyn/Grand Street) caught three passes for 61 yards while Dante Jordan (Bronx/HS for Law & Public Service) caught two passes for 53 yards. Hezekiah Williamson (Albany) carried the ball 13 times for 45 yards. Dashon Turner (West Genesee) finished the night 10 for 20 for 128 yards.

Steven Hubick (Fountain Hills, AZ) led the Pioneer defense with eight tackles while Ke'Shawn Pettway (Buffalo/Hutch Tech), Justin Bocchino (Hyde Park/FD Roosevelt), Kaieel Ward (Brooklyn/Thomas Jefferson), John Lauretti (Seaford), andCarlisle Philip (Brooklyn/South Shore) all had seven.

Men's Soccer: 1-3

The Pioneers dropped both of their games at the Bethany (WV) Tournament over the weekend. The team lost 4-1 to the hosts on Saturday and 3-1 to Franciscan (OH) on Sunday.

Brandon Holley (Livonia) scored the Pioneer goal vs. Bethany while Jacob Bartz (West Seneca) made eight saves. Albert Senyah Breezy (Central Islip) netted the goal vs. Franciscan after getting a pass from Cooper Weinman (Genesee Valley).

Women's Soccer: 3-1

The blue & gold split a pair of games this weekend. They defeated Christendom (VA) 5-0 on Saturday and lost a tight 2-1 contest to Pitt-Bradford on Sunday.

Five different Lady Pioneers scored in the victory over Christendom. Dannielle O'Buckley (Queens/Ansbach) and Michayla Salatel (Geneseo) each scored once and picked up an assist. Brooke Geibel (Arkport), Chloe Cox (Tucson, AZ), and Julia Yanarella (Roy Ketcham) also found scored. Allison Danielak (Brockport) made one save in the shutout.

Salatel scored a goal in the 57th minute to tie Sunday's game vs. Bradford but the Panthers scored on a pretty goal with 6:23 remaining to pick up the victory. Geibel picked up the assist on the goal and Danielak made seven saves in the contest.

Volleyball: 6-0

The Lady Spikers continued their winning streak with three more victories. The Pioneers defeated Houghton 3-1, Elmira 3-0, and Cazenovia 3-0.

Madison Szpaicher (Ellicottville) passed out 72 assists and had a team high 35 digs on the week while Bryanna Godfrey (Tioga) led the way with 28 kills. Valerie Intiti (Eastridge) chipped in 22 digs, Janae Hamilton (Ellicottville) collected 18 kills, and Shaina Griffin (Portville) had a six of the teams 31 service aces on the week.

The blue & gold registered a hitting percentage of .230 this week while holding their opponents to a .079 average.
