Geibel, Holley, and Thiel Share #PioneerPinpoint Honors
Brooke Geibel (Arkport), Brandon Holley (Livonia), and Lindsey Thiel (Liverpool) have been named the Alfred State #PioneerPinpoint Athletes of the Week.
Geibel netted five goals and had one assist in the Lady Pioneers two victories this weekend. She scored one goal in the team's 5-0 victory over SUNY Canton and then had four goals and an assist in a 6-0 victory at Penn State Beaver. On the year, she has seven goals and three assists.
Holley recorded a hat trick in the Pioneers 6-1 victory over SUNY Canton. Holley scored twice in the 1st half, including the game-winner, and then scored again in the 2nd half to complete the hat trick. He scored his three goals on six shots. Holley now has a team high six goals on the year.
Thiel ran an impressive race at the Harry Anderson Roberts Wesleyan Invitational on Saturday. She was the top female finisher in the 5k course. Her time of 20:22.1 was 1:30 faster than her fastest time this season and earned her 62nd place.
