10 With Des - Jacob Klima

Athletic department intern and senior football player Desmond Radcliffe sits down with Jacob Klima in his first edition of 10 with Des. Klima is a freshmen automotive technician major from Joliet, IL.

How has it been playing college football? Most challenging experience I have had but also been one of the greatest.

What made you choose to come to Alfred State? Had the major I wanted in automotive and got to continue playing football

How do you set your goals? What are some of your goals for this season? Keep goals on a mental checklist. My goals for this season are to be a starter, to average six tackles a game, and to never give up. I also want to give the team my all.

Is there an older player on the team that you look up to? An older player I look up to on the team is Desmond Radcliffe

What is your biggest accomplishment in football so far? Being named All Conference my senior year of high school. It was something I wanted to get since I started playing on the varsity team.

Who is your favorite pro athlete? Von Miller.

What are some of the keys to the rest of the season? We still have a lot a room for the team to get closer. Everybody need to just go out and give all they got.

What do you do to get yourself hyped before kickoff? I Listen to my favorite music artist Future and G Herbo. Right before kickoff I think about all of his love ones I have lost

What are your future plans after your collegiate career is completed? After my collegiate career is completed my plans is to start off working in a car shop and then one day have my own shop.

What day of game week is your favorite? Why? My favorite day would have to be Wednesday. Wednesday is the day we go full pads and get to go live tackling.
