Special Olympic Track Spectacular Postponed
The Alfred State Special Olympics Track & Field Spectacular scheduled for Friday (5/5) at Pioneer Stadium has been postponed due to forecasted rain and thunderstorms.
The event has been rescheduled for Thursday, May 11th at Pioneer Stadium weather permitting. The 5th annual event was slated to feature nearly 250 athletes from 11 school districts. Each participant will compete in a running and a field event (throw or jump).
The opening ceremony for the event is slated for 9:45 a.m. and events will run until 1 p.m.
