Pioneers Finish 6th in USCAA Director's Cup
The Alfred State athletic department finished 6th in the USCAA Director's Cup Standings. The Pioneers accumulated 399 points during the year.
Five Pioneer teams (men's and women's cross country, women's soccer, volleyball, and women's basketball) competed at USCAA Championships, 11 student-athletes were named USCAA All Americans and 43 student-athletes were named to USCAA All Academic teams.
Alfred State finished 8th in the Directors Cup Standings last year and was 4th following the 2014-15 school year.
Cleary (MI) University took home the title with 545.5 points followed by Berea (KY) College, Florida College, SUNY ESF, and SUNY Delhi.
Director's Cup points are awarded for the number of sport offerings and are also based on results from USCAA National Championship events.
