Perkins and Brown Named Garcia's Top Cut Athletes of the Week
Alfred State freshmen volleyball player Kiara Perkins (Coudersport, PA) and freshmen football player Kiegan Brown (Cortland) have been named the Garcia's Barbershop Top Cut Athletes of the Week.
Perkins was named to the All-Tournament team at Lycoming this weekend. She finished the weekend which featured four games with 32 kills and 28 digs. She recorded 12 kills vs. Lycoming, eight vs. Penn State Behrend, and seven vs. SUNY Canton.
Brown, who was also named the ECFC Rookie of the Week, recorded his first 100-yard rushing game of his career. He racked up 118 yards on 24 carries in Saturday's game against Dean College. His longest rush was a 30-yard dash to the end zone in the 3rd quarter.
