Team Updates
Men's Basketball: 2-2
The Pioneers split a pair of Thanksgiving week contests. They fell 78-51 at Baldwin Wallace but rebounded with a 88-64 victory over John Jay.
Alexshay Pearce (Rochester/Charlotte - Tech Management) led the blue & gold with 15 points while Marcus Rhett (Middletown - Sport Management) added 11. Juwan Toliver (Buffalo/McKinley - Tech Management) chipped in 10 vs. Baldwin Wallace. The Yellowjackets hit 15, 3-pointers in the contest.
The Pioneers were 33 for 64 from the field, 9 for 21 from three, and were 13 for 24 from the foul line as they led throughout in the victory over John Jay. Toliver led the team with 14 points, nine assists, and six rebounds. Rhett and Owen Spencer (Perry - Sport Management) both finished with 12. Josh Miller-LaBar (Groton/Lansing - Financial Planning) and Dante Jordan (New York/Law and Public Service - Business Management) both finished with nine while Pearce and Tahaij Lewis (Rochester/Greece Olympia - Sport Management) both chipped in eight.
Women's Basketball: 0-3
Keuka College started off fast and never looked back as they defeated the Pioneers 75-37 in the team's only action last week.
Rayanna Anderson (Wellsville - Sport Management) led the Pioneers with 10 points while Catherine Bialecki (Alfred Almond - Diagnostic Medical Sonography) chipped in nine.
Western Equestrian:
The Pioneers are back in action this weekend as they compete at Alfred University.
Wrestling: 1-2
The wrestling team is back in action this weekend when they travel to Niagara CCC for a pair of events. They will dual vs. Muskegon CC and Jamestown CC on Friday and then compete in the Niagara Open on Saturday.
Swimming: Women 3-1, Men 1-3
The swimming team will conclude their 2017 portion of their season by competing in the three-day Fredonia Invitational.
Indoor Track & Field
The 2017-18 season opens up this weekend at Brockport Open & Multi.
