Toliver Named Garcia's Top Cut Athlete of the Week
Alfred State junior guard Juwan Toliver (Buffalo/McKinley) has been named the Garcia's Barbershop Top Cut Athlete of the Week. Toliver was the leading scorer as the Pioneers split a pair of games this week.
Toliver averaged 12 points, 6 assists, and 5.5 rebounds per game this week. He had 10 points, five rebounds, four steals, and three assists vs. Baldwin Wallace and then recorded 14 points, nine assists, and six rebounds in the 88-64 victory over John Jay. He shot 52.6% from the field, hit both of his three-point attempts, and was 2 for 3 from the foul line.
On the year, Toliver is averaging 11.5 points, 7.5 assists, and 5 rebounds per game.
Toliver and the Pioneers travel to Wells tonight (7 p.m.) and host Houghton on Friday (7:30 p.m.).
