Anderson and Jordan Named Garcia's Athletes of the Week
Alfred State sophomore Rayanna Anderson (Wellsville) and Dante Jordan (New York/Law & Public Service) have been named the Garcia's Barbershop Top Cut Athletes of the Week.
Anderson had a big game as the Lady Pioneers defeated Maine Fort Kent 78-60 on Saturday evening. Anderson scored 12 points, passed out 10 assists, and grabbed six boards. The double-double was her third of the season and her six boards tied a season high.
Jordan was huge on the boards for the Pioneers this week. In three games this week, he averaged 12 points and 13 boards. He had 13 points and 12 rebounds in the victory over SUNY ESF, had 14 points and nine rebounds at D'Youville, and finished the week with nine points and 18 rebounds at Albany Pharmacy. On the year, Jordan is averaging 7.1 points and 7.8 rebounds per game.
Visit Garcia's new location at 17 Seneca St. in Hornell. The new shop consists of five new reclining barber chairs, all new barber stations, a hot towel shave station, a coffee bar, couch and love seat, two flat screen TVs, and a 7ft pool table.
