Russell and Senyah Named Athletes of the Week
Julia Russell (Candor) and Albert Senyah (Long Island/Central Islip) have been named the Alfred State Athletes of the Week.
Russell ran the 6k course at ACAA Championships held at the SUNY Delhi Golf Course in 25:00.0 to claim the individual title. She averaged 6:45 per mile and finished just over 28 seconds before the second place finisher Kalie Keyes from SUNY Delhi. As a team the Pioneers finished 2nd, just one point behind the event winner.
Senyah capped his collegiate career with a monster game vs. Hilbert. In his final match he scored four goals and passed out two assists. He finishes the season with nine goals and seven assists. His goals, assists, and points all led the team.
