He also scored six times and had a .652 on-base percentage. His biggest hit came in the bottom of the 9th with two-outs in game two vs. Altoona. His walk-off two-run double lifted the Pioneers to the victory.

Samuel Dickerson (Cutchogue/Mattituck) hit .389 with 4 RBI while Colin Johnson (Alfred Almond) drove in five runs. As a team the Pioneers hit .282 on the week and outscored their opponents 35 to 23.

The softball team couldn't get the offense going as they opened up the home portion of their season vs. Pitt Bradford. The Panthers scored a run in the 7th to win the opener 1-0 and then used a big 3rd inning in a 11-1 victory in the nightcap.

Brittany Fisher (Indianapolis, IN) allowed one run on seven hits in the complete game effort. She didn't walk a batter and struck out four in the opener. Marissa Varela (Egg Harbor Twp, NJ) collected the lone hit, a single in the 4th for the Pioneers.

Bradford jumped out to an early lead in the nightcap. Alfred State scored their lone run of the game in the 4th when Arianna Traugott (Elmira) scored on a throwing error after collecting a double.
