Kelley and Taggart Named Athletes of the Week
Emily Kelley (Andover) and Emma Taggart (New Windsor, MD) have been named the Alfred State Athletes of the Week.
Kelley had a solid all around week in a pair of games for the Pioneers. She scored 23 points (11.5 ppg), grabbed 18 rebounds, and recorded five assists and four steals. She was 9 for 15 from the field (60%) and 5 for 6 from the foul line.
Taggart was a leader for the women's track & field team as they competed at the Houghton December Classic. She won the high jump with a leap of 1.61 m. and was also 4th in the 60 m hurdles (10.40).
