Snaycuzk and Reding Named Athletes of the Week
Mikaela Snayczuk (Machias/Pioneer) and Josh Reding (Spencerport) have been named the Alfred State Athletes of the Week.
Snayczuk won two individual events and was part of the winning 200 medley relay team as the Pioneers defeated Franciscan in the pool. She won the 100 breast in 1:15.78, the 100 free in 59.47, and was also part of the winning 200 medley relay team (2:06.50). Snayczuk was also 2nd in the 200 IM (2:35.59).
Reding led the Pioneers with 17.5 points per game this week. He scored 13 points and had five rebounds and three assists vs. La Roche and then had 22 points on 9 for 14 shooting vs. Franciscan. On the year he leads the team with 183 points (14.1 per game).
