Taggart and Chambers Named Athletes of the Week
Emma Taggart (New Windsor, MD) and Cameron Chambers (East Rochester) have been named the Alfred State Athletes of the Week after solid performances at the Brockport Golden Eagle Invitational.
Taggart was solid in the 60 m hurdles. She finished 2nd in the preliminaries with a time of 10.23 and then raced to 2nd place in the finals with a time of 10.38. She was also part of the 4x400 relay team that finished 4th in 5:05.60.
Chambers recorded the victory in the 600 m run. He crossed the finish line in 1:25.56, nearly four seconds ahead of second place.
