Pioneer Fitness Center Reopening

The Pioneer Fitness Center was approved to open on Monday February 8th!  Students must follow the reopening plan guidelines in order to workout. We will be opening at a 33% occupancy and will be following strict disinfecting protocol due to NYS COVID guidelines. This results in 21 students per hour allowed to utilize the space.
 
Students must complete the Fitness Center waiver and signup for specific work out times.

How to fill out Fitness Center Workout Signup - The online signup will open on Sunday 2/7 at 3 PM.

- sign up for times using the Fitness Center Workout Signup form
 
Current Rules for Pioneer Fitness Center
- Students need to complete the new waiver prior to signing up for sessions.
- Pioneer Fitness Center will be for non-athlete, students only.  
- The Orvis Strength Room will open for student-athletes next week in which coaches will coordinate workout times. 
- Students MUST sign up in advance for workout sessions. 
- Students can sign up for no more than 3 sessions per week.  
- Student MUST complete daily COVID screening prior to arriving at fitness center.
- Students are required to wear a mask which covers both your mouth and nose at all times except when getting a drink of water.
- Gaiters are not approved for use.
- Students should come ready to workout including a clean pair of sneakers.
- Due to occupancy restrictions, changing rooms will be very limited.
     - Bring a change of sneakers and change in the hall.
- Must swipe your college ID when entering.
- Late cancellations and no-shows will result in loss of fitness center privileges including cancelation of future reservations. - There is now a cancel reservation link - must be done 24 hours in advance.
 
Please understand we have limited openings and want to maximize the use of the space during the times we are open. 
 
The Pioneer Fitness Center will be open from 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM Monday – Friday. We will open for 60 minute increments followed by a 30 minute shutdown for cleaning. We will look to add additional hours when possible.
