Jenkins and Snayczuk Named ASC Athletes of the Week
Aaron Jenkins (Canfield, OH) and Mikaela Snayczuk (Machias/Pioneer) have been named the Alfred State Athletes of the Week.
Jenkins led the Pioneers rushing attack and offense in the Pioneers 35-20 ECFC victory over Maritime. He finished the day with 222 yards rushing and one score on 22 carries. His 40-yard touchdown run in the 4th quarter sealed the victory. Jenkins was also was 8 for 18 for 95 yards and two scores. He threw a 23-yard touchdown pass to Ben Ba and a 16-yard touchdown pass to Shy'rel Broadwater.
Snayczuk won three individual events as the swimming & diving team opened up their season with a victory over Buffalo State. She won the 100 breast in 1:12.99, the 200 fly in 2:50.57, and the 100 fly in 1:08.13. She also was part of the winning 200 medley relay team that won in 1:58.90
