Gerstenberger, Larabee, and Napoleon Named ASC Athlete of the Week
Racquel Gerstenberger (Schoharie), Camren Larabee (Cuba Rushford), and Roman Napoleon (Allegany Limestone) have been named the Alfred State Athletes of the Week.
Gerstenberger stepped into the starting lineup and had a pair of solid matches. She had 11 kills and seven digs vs. Penn State Behrend and then recorded her first career double-double with 10 kills and 10 digs in a win over La Roche.
Larabee scored a pair of goals, his first of the season, in a 4-0 win over La Roche. Both of his shots led to goals.
Napoleon caught six passes for 132 yards in the Pioneer victory. His 49-yard TD catch late in the 4th quarter tied the game. This was his 2nd 100-yard receiving game of the season.
