Kelley and Jenkins Named Athletes of the Week
Women's basketball player Emily Kelley (Andover) and football player Aaron Jenkins (Canfield, OH) have been named the Alfred State Athletes of the Week.
Kelley recorded a pair of double-doubles in the opening week of the 2021-22 season. She finished the week with 31 points and 26 rebounds to go along with six assists and seven steals. She had 19 points and 11 rebounds in the win over Delhi and 12 points and 15 boards vs. Utica.
Jenkins continued to lead the Pioneer offense as Alfred State defeated Dean and clinched a share of the ECFC title. He rushed 28 times for 185 yards and two scores (2 and 1 yards) and was 11 for 28 for 270 yards and two scores (73 and 28 yards).
