Adebowale and Chambers Named ASC Athletes of the Week
Oluwatobi Adebowale of women's track and field and Nathan Chambers of men's track and field have been named the Alfred State Athletes of the Week.
Adebowale placed fourth in weight throw (13.09 meter (42 feet 11 ½ inches) and ninth in shot put (9.65 meter (3 feet 8 inches) at Houghton College on Friday. Her mark from weight throw put her in the Top-50 in NCAA Division III over the weekend.
Chambers finished third in wight throw (14.53 meter (47.08.00 inches) and tenth in shot put (10.65 meters (34 feet 11 ¼ inches). He is currently ranked 38th in NCAA Division III in weight throw with his throw from Saturday.
