Adebowale and Davis Named ASC Athletes of the Week
Oluwatobi Adebowale of women's track and field and My'ana Davis (Greece Athena) of women's basketball have been named the Alfred State Athletes of the Week.
Adebowale earns this title for the second consecutive week after finishing fifth in weight throw at the Utica Holiday Classic on Saturday with a mark of 13.58 meters (44 ft 6 ¾ in). Her throw puts her in the Alfred State record book and is now the second best in program history.
Davis picks up her second athlete of the week this season. This week Davis led the Pioneers to two conference wins. She double-doubled with 10 points and 10 rebounds in Alfred State's 83-79 win over Pitt.-Bradford on Wednesday and added four assists. On Saturday, Davis logged a season-high 23 points with eight rebounds and four assists in their 71-59 victory over Mt. Aloysius.
