Alfred State College Unveils Plans For New Strength and Conditioning Room

Alfred State College Director of Athletics, Jason Doviak announced that the full renovation of the athletic weight training facility is underway. Set to be completed at the end of the fall semester, the Pioneer student-athletes will surely benefit quickly from the updates. After spending years in the developmental stages, planning and budgeting, Director of Athletics Jason Doviak spoke on the finalization of the project "The renovation of this space will provide our student-athletes with an outstanding area to train appropriately for their respective sport.  Our strength and conditioning coaches have worked tirelessly and have long awaited the completion of this project.  They are looking forward to utilizing state of the art equipment to prepare our student-athletes for competition."

The weight room is set to include a substantial amount of state-of-the-art equipment. Including Olympic lifting platforms, 9' combo racks, free-standing pulleys, speed sleds, and air bikes. Anything an athlete needs to stay in shape and get stronger will be accessible to them in a brand-new facility.
