ALFRED, N.Y. – Ashley Viengmay most likely set a new Hilbert College single game record tonight, but the Hawks from Hilbert fell in straight sets to Alfred State in women's volleyball. 

The fifth-year senior collected 30 digs in three sets as Hilbert suffered a 25-20, 25-11 and 25-16 loss on the road.

Collectively, Hilbert produced 19 team kills in 108 attempts and 69 digs with five service aces. 

Morgan Ott gave Hilbert 8 kills eight digs and one block assist.  Anissa Quiroga chipped in four kills and posted 12 digs while Chelsea Adamski found four kills, seven digs and one service ace.

Amber Hay and Kamalei Lene each were credited with a block solo and Lene dished for 18 assists.  Serena Tecl finished with two service aces.

Alfred State remains undefeated at 7-0 while the Hawks are in search of their first W.

The royal and white have a few days before they host Medaille College Monday, September 21 in a non-conference game in the Hafner Recreation Center.  That match will be live streamed at 7pm.
