The Pioneer Baseball team traveled to Ithaca for a non-conference game. The Bombers defeated Alfred State 17-4.
Ithaca put up a run in every inning but two. They mustered 20 hits and launched 3 homers in the game. Alfred State got 7 base hits, with Gavin Moore being the lone multi-hit bat in the lineup. Moore went 2-3 with an RBI and a walk on the day. Anthony Snyder got his first collegiate hit in the 8th inning on a pinch-hit double to right field.
The Pioneers play again on Saturday against Pitt.- Bradford. The AMCC doubleheader is set to take place in Bradford, PA at 1 p.m.
