Brown Named ECFC Rookie of the Week
Alfred State freshmen running back Kiegan Brown (Cortland) has been named the Eastern Collegiate Football Conference (ECFC) Rookie of the Week. Brown had his most productive day as a Pioneer.
Brown recorded his first 100-yard rushing game of his career, racking up 118 yards on 24 carries in Saturday's game against Dean College. The freshman running back also scored his first career rushing touchdown, a 30-yard dash in the 3rd quarter.
Brown is the second Pioneer this season to earn ECFC honors.
Mitchell Caron (Castleton University) was named the Offensive Player of the Week, Louie Akuffo (Gallaudet University) was named the Defensive Player of the Week, and Mike Morgan (Castleton University) was named Special Teams Player of the Week.
