Alfred State couldn't get much going as they fell 55-6 at Brockport on Saturday. The Golden Eagles, who are receiving votes in the latest D3football.com poll, improve to 3-1 on the year.
The Golden Eagles scored on their first three possessions and never looked back. The Pioneers scored their only points of the game when Anthony Allen (Staten Island/New Dorp) scored from one yard out after Bladimir Vargas (Manhattan/George Washington) recovered a fumble on a punt return.
Elijah Rimpel (Queens/Bayside) led the way for the Pioneers with nine tackles while Rylie Van Fleet (Maine Endwell) had eight.
The blue & gold are back at Pioneer Stadium on Saturday when they host Keystone College for a 1 p.m. kickoff.
