Wilson Earns ECFC Honor
Alfred State senior quarterback Dashown Wilson (Bronx/DeWitt Clinton) has been named the ECFC Offensive Player of the Week. Wilson is the fourth Pioneer to earn ECFC honors this season.
Wilson accounted for all five touchdowns in the Alfred State 34-13 victory over Keystone. He threw a 6-yard touchdown pass to David Carroll and rushed in from two yards out in the 1st quarter, he scored from one yard out in the 3rd, and threw a 21-yard pass to Andrew Thomas and rushed in from 13 yards out in the 4th quarter.
He finished the day with 211 yards on 33 carries and was 12 of 23 for 143 yards passing.
Anna Maria's Tyshawn Anderson (defensive) and Davis Robinson (rookie) were also honored by the ECFC.
The Pioneers open up ECFC play on Saturday when they host Anna Maria.
