Broadwater Named ECFC Rookie of the Week
Shy'rel Broadwater (Syracuse/Cicero North Syracuse) has been named the ECFC Rookie of the Week.
Broadwater had a breakout game as the Pioneers battled Gallaudet. He finished the contest with seven catches for 151 yards. Three of his catches were touchdowns, 8, 43, and 32 yards. Broadwater had entered the game with three catches on the season.
RJ Randle (Gallaudet University) was named Offensive Player of the Week, Desmond Dias (Dean College) was named Defensive Player of the Week, and Joseph Gagliardi (Maritime) was named the Special Teams Player of the Week.
The Pioneers are back in action on Saturday when they take on Castleton.
