Van Fleet Named Rookie of the Week
Alfred State defensive back Rylie Van Fleet (Maine Endwell) has been named the ECFC Rookie of the Week. This is the fourth straight week a Pioneer has earned an ECFC honor.
Van Fleet had a big day in the defensive backfield for the Pioneers. He was credited with five pass breakups in Alfred State's 21-15 victory over Castleton. He also finished with eight total tackles, including four solos. On the year, Van Fleet has 39 tackles, 18 pass break-ups, and an interception.
Terrell Watts (Dean) was named the Offensive Player of the Week, Wayne Betencourt (Maritime) was Defensive Player of the Week, and Joseph Gagliardi (Maritime) was named Special Teams Player of the Week.
