The Pioneer Football team dropped today's contest against Husson University 23-17.
The televised game had late drama, with the Pioneers scoring a rushing touchdown to tie the game at 17 with 3:39 left to play. The rushing touchdown by Jake Palmer (Albany, NY / Voorheesville) capped his season-high 121 yard day on the ground.
Jimmy Brush (Kerhonkson, NY / Rondout) threw for 135 yards in the air, had 81 yards rushing, and scored a rushing touchdown on the day.
Silas Egenlauf (Spencerport, NY / Spencerport) was the defensive leader for the Pioneers, totaling 11 tackles, and a forced fumble; three of his tackles were for a loss.
