Bio
Barry Young has been part of the Alfred State coaching staff for over fifteen years. He has coached a variety of position groups and during the 2021 season he will coach the running backs.
Previously, Young has coached the defensive backs for the Hornell Dragons.
Young is a graduate of Hornell High School where he was a member of the Red Raiders. After graduating from HHS, Young went to SUNY Brockport and played basketball.
Young worked on the facilities staff at Alfred State for many years before retiring in 2019.
