Bio

Thomas Walsh joined the coaching staff this summer and will serve as the wide receivers coach.

Walsh comes to Alfred State after serving as the Head Equipment Manager at Wagner College. A position he had held since May of 2017. In that position he was in charge of all aspects of the football equipment, arranged the locker room, and worked on travel details for before and after games.

During the 2016 football season, Walsh served as the varsity wide receivers coach and defensive back coach at Hightstown High School. He was also the JV Head Coach.

A former quarterback at Rocky Mountain College in Billings, MT, Walsh spent the latter part of his time as an undergraduate there serving in various capacities within the Battlin’ Bears football program, including stints as offensive scout team coach and film coordinator. Following his graduation from Rocky Mountain he served as an Assistant Coach to the Department of Football Operations at Wagner and from the Spring of 2014 to the Fall of 2015

Walsh has a bachelor's degree in social studies from Rocky Mountain College and recently earned a master's degree in business administration from Wagner College.
