Seven Alfred State winter and spring athletes have been named to the All-AMCC Sportsmanship Team. All sport teams which compete for an AMCC championship select one member from their team who displays good sportsmanship throughout the season to be a member of the team. These individuals are selected by vote of their teammates.

73 student-athletes have earned AMCC All-Academic team honors for their work in the classroom. 44 members of this group were named peak performers for having a cumulative GPA of over 3.5 including ten that have 4.0 GPA's.

Alfred State has signed a five year agreement with BSN Sports and will continue to be an Under Armour affiliated athletic department. The contract includes both equipment and apparel.

Three Pioneers finished in double figures as Alfred State battled Penn State Behrend on Wednesday evening. The Lions were used a late 1st half run to grab the lead and went on for the 76-58 win.

Ryan Gentile (Spencerport) connected on five 3-pointers and led Alfred State with 26 points as the Pioneers played Mt. Aloysius on Saturday afternoon. For the second consecutive game, the blue & gold put together a late rally but couldn't come all the way back in 75-71 loss to the Mounties.

The Alfred State men's basketball team put together a furious rally in the final eight minutes of the game but couldn't come all the way in a 80-73 loss at Hilbert. The Pioneers trailed by as many as 24 and cut the lead to five in the final seconds.
