AMCC Announces Changes to Spring 2021 Semester
The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference is planning for the spring semester while monitoring developments across the country and within our regional footprint with regard to the COVID-19 virus pandemic. We continue to prioritize the health and safety of our student-athletes as well as our campus communities in our decision making.

The Alfred State Athletic Department unveiled the 2019-20 Athlete of the Year Team. These student-athletes have made a large impact on their specific team and the athletic department while exhibiting good character this school year.

The Alfred State Athletic Department unveiled the 2019-20 All Newcomer Team. This group of student-athletes have made a large impact on their specific team and exhibited good character in their first year as a Pioneer.
Seven Pioneers Named to AMCC Sportsmanship Team
Seven Alfred State winter and spring athletes have been named to the All-AMCC Sportsmanship Team. All sport teams which compete for an AMCC championship select one member from their team who displays good sportsmanship throughout the season to be a member of the team. These individuals are selected by vote of their teammates.
73 Pioneers Named to AMCC All-Academic Team
73 student-athletes have earned AMCC All-Academic team honors for their work in the classroom. 44 members of this group were named peak performers for having a cumulative GPA of over 3.5 including ten that have 4.0 GPA's.
Alfred State Athletics to Partner with BSN Sports and Under Armour
Alfred State has signed a five year agreement with BSN Sports and will continue to be an Under Armour affiliated athletic department. The contract includes both equipment and apparel.
Cobb Makes 21 Saves
Matt Cobb (Churchville Chili) made 21 saves as Alfred State battled King's College. The Monarchs outshot the Pioneers 59-10 in the 20-0 victory.
Q & A with Megan: Featuring AJ Soto
Alfred State sport management major Megan Gridley recently interviewed senior lacrosse player AJ Soto in her fourth installment of Q & A with Megan. Soto and the Pioneers opened up their 2020 campaign last night. Soto has 58 career goals, 34 assists, and 92 points.
