1st Half Goal Lifts Bobcats

Pitt Greensburg scored in the 35th minute to account for the lone goal in a 1-0 victory over Alfred State on a sun drenched Saturday afternoon.

Joey McGinn was able to send a crossing pass to the feet of Carson Gilarno who snuck it into the back of the net 34:15 into the game for the lone goal.

The Pioneers collected 11 shots in each half but could not get one by netminder Will Miller. Miller finished the shutout with 11 saves on the day.

The blue & gold wrap up the home portion of the season on Wednesday afternoon when they host Penn State Behrend for a 5 p.m. match.
