Bio

Dan Spencer joined the Alfred State coaching staff this summer. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the program.

Spencer comes to Alfred State after spending the past few seasons as an assistant men's soccer coach at Finger Lakes CC. At FLCC, he helped with the organization and execution of on field practices, scrimmages, and games, led directed and supported the players academic and personal development, and was part of the recruitment and strength and conditioning programs.

Previously to FLCC, Spencer served as the head coach of the men's open premier team in the Rochester District Soccer League and led his team to the Premier Division Cup in 2012. He also coached the Boys U19 Premier team in the Rochester Futbol Club. That team was the winner of the NY State West Youth Soccer Association State Cup and the US Youth Soccer Premier League Region 1 Group title. From 1988 to 2001, he served as a coach of the Irondequoit Soccer Club.

Spencer has a bachelor's degree in management from St. John Fisher.
