Dale Highlights Day Two of Allegheny - Empire Championships

Alfred State senior Ethan Dale (Lock Haven, PA) finished 2nd overall and repeated as the AMCC Champion in the 400 IM to highlight day two of competition at the 2020 Allegheny Empire Championships held at the Webster Aquatic Center.

Dale improved on his seed time by 11 seconds as he raced to a time of 4:15.09. His time was two seconds faster than his AMCC Championship time last year.

Dale was also part of the 400 medley relay team that finished 3rd overall and 1st in the AMCC with a swim of 3:31.36. In that race he teamed with Westin Perry (Canisteo Greenwood), Nate Miller (Gananda), and Matt Walker (Kenmore West).

Other top performances included: Perry was 4th in the 200 free (1:44.02), Walker was 5th in the 400 IM (4:18.54), and Miller was 6th in the 100 fly (53.00), 

The 200 free relay team of Miller, Alexander Semchenko (Fulton), Stuart Yates (Naples), and Aaron Priel (Pioneer) finished in 6th (1:30.34).

The Pioneers sit in 2nd place in the AMCC standings with 230 total points. In the overall standings, ASC has accumulated 383 points and is 5th place.

Day three action begins with prelims at 10 a.m. followed by diving at 1 p.m. and finals at 5:30 p.m.
