Men Predicted 3rd, Women 4th in Preseason CSAC Poll

Penn State Behrend was the top pick of the coaches in the 2019 Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Preseason Coaches' Poll, released by the conference office on Friday morning. The Lions, who have won all three CSAC championships, received 24 points and four first-place votes in the women's poll, while scoring 15 points and three first-place votes in the men's voting.

Alfred State in their first year competing in the CSAC was predicted to finished tied for 3rd on the men's side and 4th on the women's side.

Some of the teams in the CSAC will begin competing this weekend while Alfred State hopes to start the outdoor season next weekend. The 2019 CSAC Championships are set for May 4-5, at Keystone College.
