Bathgate and Perlino Win at Geneseo Early Season Invitational

Gavin Bathgate (East Rochester) won the 3000-meter steeplechase at the Geneseo Early Season Invitational.

Bathgate won by 12 seconds and finished in 9:58.29.

Dylan Perlino (Holland) won discus with a throw of 48.53m (159-2 and was 15^th in shot put with 11.84m (38-10 ¼).

The 4x100-meter relay of Ryan Henderson, Cameron Howard (Brockport), Shawn Rosa (Middletown) and Esaias Brumfield (Warners/West Genesee) placed second in 44.33.

The 4x400-meter relay of Ethan Kuhn (Kendall), Kyle Brown (Dryden), Ja'Mil Horner and Andrew Hvisdak took 8^th in 3:49.60.

Derek Walter (Lancaster) finished 5^th in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:00.69 and 8^th in the 110-meter hurdles in 16.91.

Jesse Johnson (Horseheads) was 7^th in high jump with 1.78m (5-10).

Brumfield placed 9th in the 100-meters in 11.65 and 12^th in 200-meters in 23.85.

Howard took 19^th in the 100-meters in 11.81.

Brown was 10th in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:02.92 and Kuhn was 13^th in 1:04.10.

The hammer throw will take place on Sunday, April 3.
