Pioneers Begin New Year at Brockport

 The Alfred State Men's Track and Field Team competed for the first time in the new year today at Brockport.

Esaias Brumfield finished the 60m sprint in 7.27 seconds, good enough for 11 place finish. Shawn Rosa ran the 400m and finished in 52.95 seconds. Rosa's run was good enough for a top-ten finish at 9 place. In the 4x400m final, the team of Brian Clark, Andrew Hvisdak, Ethan Kuhn and Jacob Rightmyer finished 13 with a time of 3:45.82.

Jesse Johnson jumped a 1.86 in the high-jump. Johnson tied for fourth place in the event. James Olson had a 12.96 in the shot put. He also finished in the top-ten of the event, in sixth place. Aden Alexander finished in the top-fifteen of the men's triple jump event. Alexander's 12.24 was good enough for 13 place.

The Pioneers head to Utica on Friday, January 27 for their next meet.
