Kruger Named USCAA All-American

Freshman shortstop Stormi Kruger (Medina) has been named a 2nd team All-American by the USCAA.  Kruger led the Lady Pioneers (13-17) with a .512 batting average.

Kruger appeared in 28 of the Lady Pioneers 30 games this season and was 42 for 82 on the year.  She collected four doubles, four triples, 18 RBI, and scored a team high 25 runs.  She finished the year with a .659 slugging percentage and a .539 on-base percentage.  On the basepaths she was 7 for 7 stealing bases.

Kruger collected hits in 21 of the 28 games that she played in and had 15 game with multiple hits.  She collected three or more hits in four games and had an unbelievable doubleheader vs. Erie CC when she went 8 for 8 with 6 RBI.

Kruger is the first Lady Pioneer softball player to earn All-American honors from the USCAA and the 7th athlete to be honored by the USCAA this year.
