Softball Home Opener Moved to Wednesday
The Alfred State softball home opener has been moved up a day and now will be played on Wednesday afternoon. The Lady Pioneers will battle Penn College starting at 3:30 p.m. at Pioneer Park.
The contest is the first for both Alfred State and Penn College since returning from their spring break trips. The Lady Pioneers will enter the game with a 3-9 mark while the Lady Wildcats are 4-4 thus far.
The change of date was made due to wet weather forecasted for Thursday afternoon.
