2017 Softball Schedule Released

First year head coach Suzie DeNillo and the Alfred State softball team are slated for 38 games in 2017. The schedule features games in New York, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina.

2017 Alfred State Softball Schedule

The season begins with a trip to the Fastpitch Dreams Classic in Myrtle Beach. In Myrtle, the team will battle Rutgers-Camden, SUNY Canton, Johnson State (VT), Sarah Lawrence, Bay Path (MA), Wisconsin-Stout, Mt. St. Vincent, Keystone (PA), and the University of St. Joseph's (CT).

The team opens up the northern portion of their season on March 25th when they host Lyndon State in a four-game series. The northern schedule features 11 home doubleheaders and just four road doubleheaders. The Lady Pioneers will battle members of the Empire 8, the AMCC, and the SUNYAC.

With success the Lady Pioneers hope to qualify for the USCAA World Series. The championship event will be held May 14-18 in Akron, OH.
