Swimming Nationals: Pioneers Remain in 13th

The Alfred State men's swimming team remains in 13th place after the third day of competition at the 2013 NJCAA National Championships.  The Pioneers have scored 100.5 points thus far.

The 200 medley relay team of Jacob Drew (Victor), Mark Pendleton (Beacon), Josh McDowell (Wayland Cohocton), and Tyler Easterbrook (Bath) finished in 12th touching the finishing pad at 1:50.13.

Pendleton earned a 22nd place finish at the 200 free (1:55.56), McDowell was 24th in the 100 fly (1:04.00), and Drew was 24th in the 100 back (1:03.80).

The final day of the National Championships begins at 10 a.m. with the preliminary heats and concludes at 6 p.m.
