Thunderwolves Remain Undefeated

Niagara CCC jumped out to a big 1st half lead and never looked back in a 72-50 victory over Alfred State.  The Lady Thunderwolves improve to 17-0 on the year.

The Niagara trio of Jesse DeWaters, Kristine Ripson, and Jaclyn Welch led the way.  DeWaters had 22 points, eight boards, and eight rebounds, Ripson had 20 points and 11 boards, and Welch finished with 19.

The Thunderwolves shot 38.7% for the game and was 19 for 22 from the foul line.

Marcedes Caver (Cleveland, OH) led the way for Alfred State with 16 points and nine rebounds. Destiny Brito (Manhattan/Park West) finished with 11 points and nine rebounds while Jennifer Fedrick (Buffalo/Buffalo) led the Pioneers with 15 boards.

The blue & gold shot just 18.4% from the field.  They held a 61 to 46 advantage on the boards including a 34 to 15 advantage on the glass.

Alfred State (3-5) travels to SUNY IT on Saturday for a 1 p.m. tip-off.
